What size Hinges do I have?
Interior Door Hinges for the United States and Canada are usually 3 1/2" (inches) x 3 1/2" (inches) when fully opened up. Each plate usually measures just under 1 3/4" (inches) and each of the plates will have 3 screw holes. See the picture to the left.
There are three different corners that are offered on door hinges:
Square
1/4 Radius
5/8 Radius
All Original Adjustable Door Hinges are 5/8 Radius as this corner cut will fit all other hinge mortising with out any additional mortising to your door or frame.
Some newer Door Hinges sometimes have one square cornered side and
one rounded edge side. We now offer this style of hinge for exterior doors.
To make it easier the rounded or radius edge version of the Original
Adjustable Door Hinge is fully reversible and can be used to replace any
Style Door Hinge whether round or square.
